The Examiners

Since 2004, Kenneth Ramos holds the FAA DPE authorization for examining ATP,  Commercial, Instruments and Private licences. Plus he can exam type ratings in the Cessna Citation CE500, CE510, CE525 and CE560XL. 

Kenneth Ramos is a certificated Airline Transport, Airplane Multi Engine, Single Engine Land and Helicopter Pilot. Plus he is a Certified Flight Instructor for Multi-Engine Airplane, Single Engine Airplane and Helicopters. Moreover he acquired a multitude of Jet Type Ratings: Cessna Citations CE500, CE510S, CE525S, CE560XL, CE700, Lear 60, S70 Blackhawk Helicopter.

His FAA Aviation career started by attending Cleveland Aviation High School, after obtaining an Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic License. He later joined the US Army as a Helicopter Mechanic. In total his Aviation Career comprised positions as a Mechanic, Inspector, Aviation Safety Officer, Pilot, Maintenance Manager and Maintenance Test Pilot. Ramos held the position as the Director of Maintenance at the City of Columbus, Division of Police Helicopter Unit. Now Ramos retired from the Columbus Division of Police as a Sergeant after over 20 years of service and he retired from Federal Aviation Administration.
